    Install


    Recently my Xbox one call of duty black ops ll would not launch. I installed it and tried reinstall. I have reinstalled 3 time each time gets to 87%and says I can launch. When I launch call of duty screen come up for min then blacks out then disappears
    and goes back to install screen and starts over at zero. I check to see if game is on hard drive but doesn't exist. I don't have a clue what is going on?

    Install or no install?

    Ive installed both disks to my hard drive and played the game for about 3 hours and havent experienced any issues except for the pop ups in the opening cinematic scene, dont think it affects the performance as much as people think

    Aside from the mandatory install I don't think I will be installing the play disc, from what I've read it seems to cause alot of popup. May try tomorrow to install and see if I notice any difference in gameplay, just can't wait for 12 to go pick up my copy
    and start playing.

    Install

    Power cycle the console between the uninstall and reinstall. Do this by holding down the power button until the console turns off.

    Try to do a UNINSTALL of game, then UNPLUG POWER to CONSOLE and wait 2 mins. Now plug power back in , turn on and sign in, then do a FRESH INSTALL of game and try and test.

    Uninstall the game unplug xbox for 1min. And then try again if this continue to happen contact support.

    Install

    Hiya, Asemple!

    Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, Base on the troubleshooting done and the steps provided by the ambassadors. If the issue still isn't resolved one thing to try is to uninstall a game or two to create some space on the hard drive.
    Then Download a game demo from the xbox store, then try installing the black ops II game. I hope this information was useful.

    So if I buy a flash drive it would be for only this game...do any of the flash drives work or does it have to be a xbox360 kind? and how many gb should i get?

    Even with the 2nd disc NOT installed I get loads of pop in texture problems.

    How did they push the game back and overlook this issue. I like Rock Star and all but this is a fumble, after picking up a gain of 20.

    To install or not to install...

    Installing now, 3 discs is a hassle, but I'd rather get them all out of the way now than do it as I need the disc!
