Install Xbox One game cd on Xbox App PC

8) PC is way easier, I put in the CD and install it and I'm good to go. I put the CD in my Xbox One and it downloads all the content off of servers rather than the CD because I'm connected to the internet. If If my friend wants to use it, it's no problem,
here you go. The only thing that sucks with PC is I get so into modding the games that I spend more time modding than actually playing because I find that I can always make the game better.

I take this opportunity to let you know that CD Keys and other websites like G2A, Eneba, etc. are not authorized marketplaces, and sometimes a seller listing can be misleading.

You could try contacting the seller and see if they can give you a new code for the Xbox console edition of Farming Simulator, because if you redeem the one that is compatible with PC. You will be able to install the game only on that platform and not Xbox.

Apart from that, the Xbox app is available on PCs, and it serves as a launcher and store for games purchased through the Microsoft Store.

It's a good question. And, it seems you are not the only one asking about a "Background CD player" . Now, it is true that the Groove app
will let you "Playing background music on Xbox One" . But, at this time it does not support playing from music CD directly. You can download and
install the free Audio CD player app from your Xbox. However, that does not support playing background music. Once you leave the app, the music will stop. But, the opposite is not true for things you are downloading. The downloads will continue regardless
if you are playing a CD. I know this may not be exactly what you wanted. But, it does mean you can play a music CD and download at the same time.

Also, may I suggest going over to the Xbox
feedback website and vote for the "Background CD player" post. It is possible that this feature may show up in future Xbox One updates.

It seems quite a few people are having this issue with pc xbox app as well as myself. This isn't a fix but until you can find one or microsoft fixes it, you can use this work around solution. If you have a smart phone or tablet, you can get the mobile game pass app. Use the mobile app to install games to your pc xbox app. On the mobile app just make sure you have PC games tab selected before trying to install the game of your choice to your pc otherwise it will assume you are trying to install to a xbox console. Hope this helps.

Sorry... all games are stored and saved on my WD drive. Not the Xbox One S console. Only thing I have installed on the console is the OS, Apps. All games (digital and CDs) are stored on the WD drive. Set to primary as well for all games.
