    Install issues forza and ryse, tried the network fix still not working


    Hi, just bought Forza 5, Ryse and DR3 and having major install issues. Both Ryse and Forza 5 cannot complete the install both say queued or installing but have not moved forward for the last 6 hours. I have tried the disconnect and reboot but still not working.
    This is not a great start to the life of an Xbox one, any other fixes to what should be a basic simple feature and been tested at development.

    Microsoft and Xbox need to get back to gaming.

    titanfall, DR3, Ryse, Forza, Halo Spartan assualt, powerstar golf, crimson dragon all in the launch window. not bad for a launch lineup of exclsuvies. Gaming is fine. they just need to fix some issues which they are working on

    This actually tends to work with 60-70% of people have this problem or problems similar, so give it a try. Disconnect the Xbox One's power cord for 30 seconds and then plug it back in and attempt to install it again. I know it's a pretty simple idea, but
    it has worked for a lot of others. I'm pretty certain that Microsoft is working on fixing this glitch and many others. I know how frustrating it can be to get a new console and then have your games not work.

    I'm guessing that Microsoft hadn't fixed the Ryse installing glitch yet, because I just purchased that game a few days ago and encountered a problem very similar to scgor's. The game had finished installing to the hard drive, but when I tried starting a
    new campaign in any mode, it still said "installing...". So I tried your little trick of unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds, and it worked like a charm!

    I'll be sure to keep that idea in mind, in case I run into any more installing glitches down the road. Thanks for your tip there, manjam2!

    0x87e00064 error code with brand new games

    I managed to somehow get Forza to download the game instead of it installing from a disk. With ryse it's a different story... No such luck getting it to install.

    I can't remember when but I did install the blu ray app. Wasn't sure if that fixed the issue with Forza tho.. I'll keep trying to figure this out.

    Thanks for the advice 'Three Elf' but it hasn't seemed to have fixed the problem!

    I even tried reconnecting to the network, the network is obviously connected as I downloaded Forza.

    I was wondering whether there was an issue with the day one update install.
