@ Zeeke. This will probably answer your question. Xbox 1 games can be much bigger than Xbox 360 games. Even on Xbox 360, installing a game can improve loading times.

As mentioned, disconnect from the net when installing, it's not ideal, but it's quicker.

wow it was only ryse it took 3 hrs. , but sports rivals finished in 5 minutes and deadrising 3 took 20 minutes . so that's fine just had me worried I thought maybe being in the beta update program messed something up again . but every thing is fine guys

Seen a lot of thes threads. I havnt had any issues so Im wondering is there a difference plugging straight into the router as opposed to going wireless?

Really? Sports rivals, CoD and Forza were all able to play within five minutes for me. Sorry to hear about your problem. I didnt have to go offline either

COD, Forza, NFS Rivals, and BF4 (these games have the largest game file sizes) on average only took me 1 HOUR (60 minutes) to install EACH game. Not tooooo bad. And those games I got the retail Blu-ray disc version. I would not recommend getting THOSE games
digitally if you only have normal ADSL Broadband speeds which average 8.0MB/s down and 0.9MB/s up in NZ.
