    Help.

    Hi
My name is Rishabh an Independent Adviser, I hope you are doing great out there. I’m happy to help you with your question.

It sounds like you're encountering a persistent issue with updating and installing games on Xbox. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:

    1. Clear Persistent Cache:

Sometimes, clearing the persistent cache can help resolve installation issues. Here's how:
Press "Windows + R" to open the Run dialog.
    Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.
This will reset the Windows Store cache.

    2. Reset Microsoft Store App:

Resetting the Microsoft Store app can help resolve issues related to downloads and installations:
Right-click on the Start button and select "Apps and Features."
Scroll down and find the "Microsoft Store" app. Click on it.
    Click on "Advanced options."
Click on the "Reset" button. This will reset the app and clear its data.

    3. Check Windows Update:

Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates often include fixes for various issues.
Open the "Settings" app by pressing "Windows + I."
Go to "Update & Security," then click on "Windows Update."
Click on "Check for updates" and install any pending updates.

    4. Check for Xbox App Updates:

Make sure the Xbox app for PC is up to date. Updates can include fixes for various issues, including those related to game installations.

    5. Check Antivirus and Firewall Settings:

Sometimes, antivirus or firewall software can interfere with installations. Temporarily disable them and see if the issue is resolved. If it is, adjust their settings to allow the Xbox app and game installations.

    6. Check for Windows Store Errors:

Sometimes, errors in the Microsoft Store itself can cause installation issues. Check the Store for any error messages or notifications that might provide more information.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks and regards

New PC Installation of Windows - Unable to Install Xbox Games

Jumping in to say I also have the same issue as OP, cannot install any new games from Xbox app or Windows Store. I also receive Error Code 0x80070002 when trying to install a game. This is clearly an issue with the Xbox app, probably a new update as this just started happening within the past week for me.

Please release a fix/update because the Xbox/Store app is clearly non-functional right now!!!!

Xbox Gamepass for PC not launching games

Does it give you an error code?

I had an issue where it wouldn't launch and gave me a service error. I checked in the XBox beta app and it showed that there was an update I needed to install.

Also, are there any issue with region settings on your PC?

    Xbox (Beta) Installer Error 0X80190194

Title says it all. The app will not install, will not prompt for UAC, does not show any semblance of progress. This is infuriating.

    I'm updated to Version 2004, build 19041.508.
Same issue here. I just updated to Windows 10 x64 version 2004, build 19041.508. Previously, I was getting a different error, although I don't recall the unhelpful 8-digit error code - it was different (I was on version 1903) and figured it would probably
fix itself if I installed all the latest updates. :-/

When I try to install the app:

    1) It first prompts to accept the license terms. Check the box and click the Install button.

    2) It briefly shows the install progress "Making things awesome"

    3) It then shows the error: "Looks like something went wrong" "We weren't able to install the app (0x80190194)".

    Cant install Halo MCC

I have the same issue. The MCC app got stuck in a wierd "has Update" but wont update loop. Xbox app can't launch the game. So I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it. The uninstall didn't free up the disk space, the reinstall wouldn't complete, just says
installing. I tried in MS Store app, the install doesn't even start downloading before it errors out with a "0x803FB107" error. Tried a number of things, not getting closer to a solution. The Outer Worlds wont even launch either...
