Insert Disc tile

Discus and support Insert Disc tile in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; What the heck does it do? The " Insert Disc" tile on the home screen, bottom right.     Insert Disc tile


    What the heck does it do? The " Insert Disc" tile on the home screen, bottom right. It doesn't insert discs when I push it, I walk up to m y xbox and insert disc. I feel like it's just filler, can we swap it out with something useful? I'd even take an Ad
    over it. ( not sure why it took me 4 months to realize it was there!)

    Sales and Specials Tile?

    On the right of the green tile which says insert disc is a large tile with Gold the available free games and sales are there.

    You're not talking about the disc drive tile by any chance which pops up on the dashboard whenever you insert a disc after it has been read?

    Is this a serious post or a joke? That tile reflects what is in the disc drive. Put a disc in.

    It's not going to magically insert a disc for you. It's telling you to insert a disc so it'll have something to show you.

    I suppose it could have your (4th) most recent digital title or app displayed when there is no disc but I guess it's just convenient to easily see that there is no disc. In all honesty, I genuinely couldn't tell you what disc is in my console now if any
    at all. To some it may be annoying, but to many it's a quick reference or reminder and causes no harm.

    That tile is there (as pointed out) to reflect what disk is in your machine. If there is no disk inside it, it will say "insert disk". This isn't so much an option, but more a command. It's telling you to insert a disk. I don't think it will ever be removed
    but I do hope we can organize our tiles and re-arrange them one day. Make them smaller, bigger, move them around ect..
