    Insert Disc Issues


    I bought the physical copy purely because it was close to £20 pounds cheaper than buying it via Xbox Live. Still don't understand why its cheaper to buy the physical copy than a virtual copy given the amount of data you still have to download once you install
    the disc.

    Anyway more to the point, this morning I see to be having issues with my console reading the disc and the tile just says "Insert Disc". I've tried with other game and blu-ray discs and these spin up and read with no issues but with this disc it doesn't. I was
    playing Halo last night with no issues reading the disc.

    It seems like I have may have been unlucky and got a disc from a bad batch. Just wondering if anyone else was suffering the same issue or if it might be a 'new game ship it before its ready in time for Christmas' issue.

    Reluctant to return the disc just yet.

    XBox One disc goes back into console on ejection

    I've had issues with my disc drive from day one, unfortunately. Sometimes I can put a disc in and it reads it fine, other times I have to insert and eject the disc ten times before it finally recognizes it. =/

    Crunch! Crunch! Whirrrrrrrr! now experiencing random disc munch.

    I've had my Xbox one for a month and so far I haven't had any issues. Last night I insert Forza and the disc didn't load, I eject it and re-insert and Crunch Crunch! I took the disc out and on the underside of the disc I now see scuff marks on the disc and
    an alomost diamond shaped pattern. I power off the console power back on, wipe the disc clean and re-insert... it reads now....

    Has anyone experienced this problem? i know their have been bad drive issues but this seems very random, ideas?

    Hello!

    My friend (gamer tag - SAGE 219) already bought the game "Overwatch" (which was purchased 2 months ago) and "The Division" (was purchased on the day one that it released). And when he's trying to play them, it says to insert disc or buy the game. And then,
    sends to the Xbox store and just says play game and loops.

    It's kinda weird because he did try to check the licenses on this link:
    account.xbox.com/.../MyGames     but these 2 games are not showing. Also, he did try checking his transaction history and bank statement but can't seem to see the charges.

    But if you will try to search for his gamer tag and "compare games", you will see that there's a progress and achievement on the game.

    I wanna know what happened?

    Please help!

    Disc Insert Issue

    the drive is going you need to send it in for repairs , i had the same thing as i am on my 3rd Xbox one and it was the same issue every time. So send it in asap before the warranty expires . It could be a few things but its going to break completely so you
    have to send it in for repairs but its diskdrive related.

    oblivion dlc wont work

    Play with Disc 2 inserted, instead of Disc 1. That should fix the issue.

    If you are still having issues, Uninstall the game, and then insert only Disc 2, and let the game install.

    Discs left in console not reading, happens on all games, eject and reinsert and they seem to work

    I have the same issue disc-related, and I would agree it started at about the same date. It doesn't seem to be a drive issue, but a software related issue that makes the system not sense the disc is already inserted into the system. An eject and re-insert
    always does the trick, but is a pain.
