Insanely broken

I've played a lot of battlefield, and have suffered through every botched launch DICE and EA have made. (BC, BC2, 1943, BF3 et. all) but BF4 is in an indisputably broken state. It's painfully clear that the game was nowhere near ready to launch, and was
rushed to compete with CoD. Two months on, and it's completely unplayable. Server drops, dashboard crashes, server outages, rubber banding, lag spikes, level and weapon resets, campaign progress loss, a broken server browser and now queues to wait to play
a game I paid $70 for. Simply unbelievable.

I told myself I'd wait to get XB1 until titanfall in March, but grabbed one on a whim before the holidays, and decided to give BF another chance-- like an abused spouse coming back for more. I should have listened to my instincts. Time to break the cycle.
Up to craigslist it goes, and the XB1 becomes a glorified netflix box until March 11th.

lol....bro, turns out the servers got attacked .....supposedly, their up and running smoothly now (I trust the source of this info) ...would have been nice if DICE or EA or even XBL would have put out a message to their customers like they do for maintenance

Over a month into it and I am stlll having severe problems with this game....

 

it appears that my friend was incorrect when he told me the servers were up and running...they are not, they are still a disaster. I get that perhaps it's not M$'s fault or even DICE or EA, but why can't one of these jagaloon organizations have the decency
to send their paying customers a message, giving us a heads up that yes, there is a problem ...why the hell are we left guessing when all they'd have to do is send a mass email and we might get the sense that they give a rip after taking our money ....yes,
XBL, that goes for you too. .....EA, just insulted me when I tried to join a server, and there's a message there on the info screen....a new double XP even starts today (1/3/14) and runs for 58 hours ...yay ....they should have included "now good luck suckers,
actually getting into a game and by the way...we took your money, your oreos and knocked up your teenage daughter" in the message
