Inquisition kicking me off of xbox live, and problems staying connected to xbox.com

So I don't know what's wrong with the xbox servers, but I've been having problems on my console as well as on this website. When I'm on my xbox I can connect to xbox live on the dashboard, and even use Netflix with no problems at all. I can talk in parties,
and send messages, etc. But as soon as I turn on Dragon age Inquisition, it disconnects me from xbox live without even letting me know. When I originally ran into the problem tonight (2/17/2015 at 9:20 pm Eastern time), I was in a party when I booted up DAI
and I noticed I was disconnected from the party by the sound that it makes in the mic when you leave a party, or are disconnected, etc. I thought that Dragon age was giving us another update (finally), but no such update had commenced. I tried to connect to
xbox live with no avail, and actually froze my xbox at first. I turned the console off, and then back on, and it was connected to live just fine while I was on the dashboard, but again when I tried to play DAI it disconnected me from live without even giving
me notice that it had happened. Every time I tried to sign in, it loaded for an obscene amount of time, and then told me "Your connection to xbox live has been lost. Please sign in again." It gave me the options "Ok", and "Test connection", and it only gave
me this message when I tried to reconnect, not when I was actually disconnected. I even tried to sign in with a different profile and still had the same problem. This problem is persisting, and as a loyal customer to all three companies (Bioware, EA, and Microsoft)
I really don't appreciate this lack of service (which I payed for) without even properly notifying me of what's going on. It's clear that this is not the live servers going down again, because if I'm not playing Inquisition then I can connect just fine...
until I boot up Inquisition again. I've also gone to my network settings and disconnected from our wifi, and then reconnected, and it still didn't work. Microsoft and EA are separate companies (at least in name), so I don't imagine that Microsoft shares servers
with EA for the sole purposes of EA games (which wouldn't really make sense anyways). Come to think of it, the friend that I was in a party with was playing a sports game, and I believe that most of them are EA games too, and he had no problem being in the
party with me, so I really don't understand why this is happening. What's worse is that navigating the xbox.com website, I ran into three (3!) separate and different "Error" pages which told me anything from "You have discovered a glitch in the system", to
"We can't tell you what's going on, or the reason why you aren't connecting to the page you're looking for because you don't work for us, and we don't want to breach our security"... -_- I But I digress. If someone knows what's going on, or how to solve the
issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

i'm having the some problems with xbox live matchmaking. i keep kicking off of online gaming, and nexfex. WHY!!!!
