[INQUIRY] Wanting to completely reset my gamer-score and let me earn achievements once more.

Hello,

A long time ago in the year 2010, my account (MLGe) received a cheating infringement. I had paid someone to modify my gamerscore on: Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and I believe CoD: MW2. I did not think much of it at the time, and actually forgot I had the account
until the last 3 months.

I noticed my gamerscore was reset due to this, and it was a fair reset, however I can no longer earn achievements in those games. I have spent a couple of hours talking to multiple support representatives about how I could possibly go about getting this
account the ability to re-earn achievments in those games, and I have ended up here on these forums.

So to outline it once more

• Gamerscore reset due to cheating
• Can no longer earn achievements in the games that were modified

I wanted to

• Reset my gamerscore completely and allow me to re-earn those achievements legitimately
  

Or....

• Somehow migrate this gamertag to a fresh account, with no games played, and no account history at all, to allow me to earn them again.

Im Outraged About Gamer-Score Resets.

Yes i recently got reset due to modifying my gamer-score. Yes I DO UNDERSTAND that i broke code of conduct and it is my fault for modifying my gamer-score. I DO UNDERSTAND. And i stand behind Xbox live 100% . I agree with the consequences .Gamer-score reset
and labeled a cheater. I agree with that fully 100%. The thing that outrages me is that we "cheaters" CAN NOT earn achievements for the games me modified. To all the Xbox live enforcers out there just know that before we got reset and labeled a cheater we
we already facing consequences. It was not fun to earn achievements anymore. When i got reset and found out i could not earn achievements anymore i was just shocked. But as the dedicated Xbox player i was i still renewed my Xbox live membership to 12 months
and still bought 4000 Microsoft points and purchased games from you guys.I really wish you would fix this and let us earn previous achievements . I have been playing ps3 and earning trophies because that is the closest thing to earning achievements. I speak
for everyone who has gotten reset. At least give us "cheaters" a second chance . The whole reason i played Xbox was to earn achievements . Just remember everybody deserves a second chance. And a second chance is not labeling us "cheaters" and not letting us
earn previous achievements. Just think about it.

Gamerscore

Delete your profile (PROFILE ONLY) and redownload it. This worked for me, fixed the gamerscore problem completely. Only thing though, if you got any achievements after your score was reset, it doesn't count those achievements once you reset.

 

The only way to re-earn the achievements would be to create a brand new account. You would not be able to transfer anything from this account to the new account. If you want to use the same gamertag, you would have to change the gamertag on this one to something
else in order to free it up to use on the other account.

 

However, according to support they say that once I change the gamertag no other account can get my old one... which I swear is not true as I've seen it happen before, but maybe they've changed?

 

what do you know, it worked... cost $10 though
