Inquiry About Code Redemption and Account Verification

Hello,

I recently purchased a code, and a friend of mine redeemed it on my Microsoft account on my behalf.

I would like to ask if there is any issue or violation with this method of activation — meaning that someone else activated the code for me — or if it is completely acceptable according to Microsoft’s policies.

Additionally, I would like to confirm two things:

Is the code I redeemed valid and properly recognized by Microsoft?

Is the payment method (the Visa card) linked to my account valid and verified?

No one else should have access to your account. So that in itself would violate the code of conduct/terms of service.

But i worst case there is console ban or not

Or it will be just account ban (if account ban it will be my fault )
