Inquiries about Same Household Gameplay

I play several games Multiplayer with several friends. For the most part, the connections are pretty solid. I usually have no trouble online with any lag in random games, or preset games with a close knit group of friends. However.. if I try to play a game
co-op with another person in my same household (with them using their own xbox), we lag so bad it will drop me out every 10-15 minutes or so, or, the lag becomes so severe, that I have to literally quit the game, wait a bit, and rejoin. Just wondering. My
NAT is usually always open (although some days it varies, oddly, and restarting the consoles makes it go back to open.. Ive always had this issue, even back with my old old original white xbox 360).

Just wondering.. because.. well one would think the connection would be strongest between two people in the same household, as opposed to say, someone in California playing with someone in Florida.

Game pass sharing in same household

You would have to set her console as your Home console. She would be able to access any games you download through game pass, but game pass itself is not shareable.

Keep in mind that if you set her console as your Home, your son will no longer be able to share your gold/games on your console.

 

Three consoles within same household?

We currently have two Xbox One consoles on our home network, with 3 Xbox Live accounts and all the game "ownership" under one of the three account holders. One of the two consoles is designated as the home console and with most of the games we own being
digital, the game sharing feature seems to work pretty well. However, I am contemplating purchasing a third Xbox One console for the same household with the intention that all three of us would play the same game simultaneously but I can't seem to figure
out how this would work. Has anyone tried this and would be willing to share their experience? Buying multiple copies of the same game is obviously not an ideal solution, but even if I were to go that route how would this work? The owner of the digital
version woul play the digital copy on the existing console not designated as the home console, the second account holder plays the digital version on the home console and the third account would play the disc copy on the new Xbox console? It seems that Microsoft
could solve this problem by allowing game sharing between more than two consoles when all the consoles are on the same network... Any thoughts?

 

when you start coop it will always establish an Internet Connection to live Servers so it doesnt matter if same house or not. the only difference will be if the game offers System link which can be done offline.
