Input?

I have encountered an issue in the games I've been playing recently where after a timed delay the screen will tilt upwards all the way as if I was pressing up on the analog stick of my controller. It occurs in all of the recent games I've played and only
in the play aspect of a game and none of the xbox or in-game menus. This factor as well as the timed delay has me convinced that the issue is not analog stick drift as that would occur continuously and in the menus. I recently moved my xbox from my living
room to my bedroom and from memory this is when the behavior started. I was using my controller wired into the xbox and have tried switching to wireless and the issue persisted. i have also tried restarting my xbox and leaving it unplugged for several minutes.
Another possibly related issue only occurs in the xbox one menus, my inputs are doubled so when i press the dpad once the selector moves 2 spaces; the analog stick has the same issue. I have not tried using my other controller but i would like to fix this
rather than just never using this controller again.
