    So the Xbox One's backwards compatibility has been suffering from input lag issues, no matter what game I play on it, and it seems to be even worse with newer games such as Gears of War 3 (Read this forum for posts, you'll find a bunch)

    I also made a video demonstrating this issue:

    Is there ever going to be a fix for this? Thank you.

    Xbox360 HDMI into Suround sound then to tv?

    I have never seen a HTIB or an AVR induce video lag, that always happens at the screen due to image processing. The audio system will output the audio correctly but it could be ahead of the TV if it has a high amount of input lag. When you play games on
    the TV with it connected directly, do you feel input lag? Also, if you post the model number, we can help find how high/low the input lag is on that specific model.

    Eurogamer reported input lag during the preview beta a while back and concluded it was probably because of the Vsync in the emulator. But thats just a theory. Google it if you want to read about it. Bottom line, BC needs a little work until its fully playable.

    It's not an issue that requires resolving. It's just a simple reminder that Dolby Vision increases input lag. If it feels like the input lag is unbearable, just disable Dolby Vision for Gaming in the video modes menu.

    What you have is called Input lag. This is the delay between the video game controller and what happens on-screen. In some cases, input lag can be minimized or eliminated if you are using an analog connection like VGA or component instead of DVI/hdmi.
