    Input lag on XBOX Cloudgaming


    Hello,

    I just re-subscribed to ultimate in hope that they fixed the input lag, or at least let me choose the server region where games are being created. Sadly I still have input lag, the same 100-700ms I had when they started with the cloud gaming. I tried 3 controllers.

    I can easily do cloud gaming on Switch, Shadow and other services with a maximum input ping of 15ms.

    I am running on a cable 1GBit Internet connection. I did like everything possible on my end to minimize the input lag but it happens only on XBOX Cloud Gaming. In about 1 of 15ish tries I get a good/better connection where the input lag is much less and thus I really think that the mainproblem is that the games are being created in a random selected server which can maybe end up beinng on the other end of the planet.

    So is there maybe a way to enforce the region?

    Also I wonder if its possible to gain some connection informations to help troubleshoot stuff?

    The computer hardware doesn't matter at all since the game is run on an Xbox console and just streamed to your PC. Would you please share a screenshot of your network speed on a third party network speed test website?

    1. No, no way to enforce the region. But usually servers for cloud gaming are on every supported country. Xbox does not allow cloud gaming on countries that they do not have dedicated servers for cloud gaming. So every time you connect to cloud gaming, it should ge on a german server.

    2. What exact connection informations? From Xbox side, you can only test your connection with the Xbox Live servers (as we did above). Sorry about this.
