    Hey everyone, I recently purchased my new Xbox One, and so far I am loving the console. The only issue I have is with my TV, not my console so I don't know for sure if y'all can help me with this. Basically, I have the plagued Insignia 55" LCD that has HDMI
    input lag when any device is outputting in xxxP format (1080p and 720p). On my 360 I was able to turn the resolution down to 1680x1050, but on the One I cannot find that option or even any information on whether or not it is even possible. I have resorted
    to playing on my much smaller Vizio 24" for now, but I would really like to find a solution to be able to play on my 55" that's not selling my tv and buying another one, haha. Is it possible to output at 1680x1050 from the One? If not, is there some kind of
    HDMI scaler box that isn't too expensive and wouldn't produce more input lag? Thanks!!

    I don't notice any input lag.

    Do you have extra features activated on your TV?

    The more processing the TV has to do the more input lag you will notice.

    If your TV has a game mode use that otherwise switch off extra features like the 100/200htz mode as they just increase processing time which means more noticeable input lag.

    xbox one with component cables?

    I ran into this problem too. I was told that there could be input lag and other video/audio glitches by using a converter. So, I went out and bought a new 55" Vizio LED TV. Not an ideal solution, considering I spent another $850 for the TV and a stand, but it counted as a Xmas present for the wife. Win-win.

    have you tried putting your tv in game mode on settings? this normally reduces lag substantially

    Per the User Manual, Hit Menu>Picture Mode>Game

    Can you try that and see if it helps?
