Input Lag on Certain Maps

Just curious if anyone else experiences this? It's a certain delay when aiming, it feels like I'm dragging the reticle around the screen. What's weird is that it only happens on certain maps (like truth, regret, collesium) after a certain amount of time.
It gets worse over time. Some maps are great at the beginning but get slower and clunkier with the aiming as the match goes on.

Anyone know what could be the issue? I know most people are going to think it's the TV, but I use a Viewsonic 22'' monitor I got 5 years ago after the MLG forums selected it. I doubt it's the HDMI cable, it's the one that came with the xbox. Could it be
that I'm using wireless controller? If so why would it only be on certain maps?

Monitors generally have less input lag than TVs because the signal isn't processed. Certain latest monitors have lag of less than 10ms.

 

Call of Duty gamers who have 55"-75" TV's

How accurate are lag input test results from cnet? They have a certain tv I want to buy rate very well, but there are a few amazon reviews by "gamers" who complain about the input lag.

 

To remove all aiming lag, plug your controller into the console for, make sure you are using a LAN connection to your router or modem. I know there have been multiple updates since this post, have any of them helped the issue? You may also try adjusting
the dead zones in the Halo 5 settings. You can also contact Bravo on Twitter ( @Brav ) and inform him of the issue and he will always get back to you and let the multiplayer team aware of it.
