Injustice of Enforcements

So,

Today I got an enforcement action against me for language used against someone else. I’ll shed some light on the details of what happened.

I was in a game of Rainbow Six Siege when someone started team-injuring me. I messaged him, saying “Use your heal, idiot” since he then stared at me whilst using Doc, a operator that has a heal ability. He then went on to team-kill me two rounds in a row
as s a and his friend send messages swearing at me. I killed him the next round, with my friend killing the other and we other and we reported them and all their messages as they had been messaging my friend as well.

About five minutes later I got an enforcement notice from Xbox Live staying that I can not use text or voice comms for seven days. I have yet to receive any notice that the other two harrassers have had action taken against them.

There have also been two instances in the past similar to this.

One, there’s was someone who had multiple accounts and he kept messaging me and swearing at me, since I am a girl he was also using that against me, being sexist and again, harassing me on multiple accounts. He did not have any enforcement action against
him.

Two, there was someone who said he would rape me, and then continued to harass me using sexual language, explicitly saying how he would rape me if he found me and was very sexist about my gender. He did not get any enforcement action taken against him

The justice system really confuses me, I don’t understand how after one word of me calling him an idiot gets me banned, yet after all of these instances these people don’t have any enforcement action taken against them? Please, any suggestions of why this
is happening?

So I can be reported for something I never did? I don't use racial slurs in real life so I definitely won't on xbox because I know there will be consequences.

There is no time limit on when you can be suspended for a offence.

It could of been for something you did months ago.

Messages are only stored for 30 days before they are automatically deleted.

Any report is investigated before a suspension is issued.If you have filed for a case review than it means that it has been investigated twice,most likely by a different person/persons.

If the decision was upheld then there is nothing else you can do.

 

If you think someone has violated the Code of Conduct just report that person or block him from further abuse. Retaliating goes against service rules and leads to suspensions

When you report someone you will not get any notice from the enforcement team of what their investigation determined for privacy purposes.

It does take time for the enforcement team to investigate a report so just because they were not suspended immediately doesnt mean that they were not suspended at a later date.

 

I have reported people in the past, and gotten a thank you message when action has been taken against them from Xbox Live, so yes you do get a message.

I just added the last two as examples, they happened months ago, and yet no notice, so.

 

The thank you message from the enforcement team is actually pretty rare and not given out every time they suspend someone. So just because you don't receive a message doesn't mean they didn't look into it and take action.
