    Initial update freezes, bought Xbox one 4 days ago, still have no idea why it doesn't work


    I bought my Xbox one 4 days ago and the initial update either freezes or goes to an error screen, I've tried everything from the USB trick which doesn't do anything, to opening ports after speaking to my ISP, I even took the console back and got a replacement
    but nothing.

    Microsoft support can't tell me what the problem is other than to try again in a few hours, well its been a few days and I still have no idea when or if i'll be able to get this thing to work. Can someone that knows what the deal is let me know, coz this
    is beyond ridiculous now

    One guide and app channels

    I was wondering if there is a way to force a refresh of One Guide's app channel's list. Currently I have ESPN Live and ESPN3 marked as favorites on my App channel. It works great except one thing. It doesn't refresh the information. I still have 4 days
    ago Live TV information. Anyone have an idea as to how to update the app channels?

    3 years later still a problem. I am having the same problem. I got my Xbox One S a couple days ago and the mic doesn't work. I can hear everything, but no one can hear me. Everyone in game chat can see my mic symbol. I have tried using apple headphones for
    a mic doesn't work. Bought adapter for my Xbox 360 turtle beaches doesn't work. I have tired a a lot of things but nothing works...

    Also, despite having sent the folks at xbox music an email more than 2 days ago, I've received no reply. As I said initially, I don't expect one, although I have no idea why. It's like they're TRYING to lose my business. But I'll hold out until January
