    Initial setup Parent sign in Loop issue ?


    Hi..I am trying to log in and register my sons new Xbox One, replacing his Xbox 360. Going through the log in it asks for his current log in and password which we put in, then it asks a parent log in. We use the log in and password and it loops back to request
    the original password. Has anyone had this problem ? How was if overcome ? Any help would be appreciated.

    Reboot loop after initial wifi setup

    I just got my new Xbox One S console (Gears of War limited edition). On the first boot, everything was fine until the wifi setup screen.

    After entering the password, I am seemingly stuck in an endless reboot loop. The screen will turn to black, and after a while, the green Xbox One loading screen turns up. It turns black after a while and the whole process repeats again. I read that Im supposed
    to set my wifi to open but now i can't even get into the setup screen. Only managed to get into the controller setup once or twice when spamming my controller during the xbox one loading screen.

    Initial setup Parent sign in Loop issue ?

    If it is a content restricted child account you may have to configure a parent account before having the child account configured.

    So configure an adult account for yourself or set up a new one for you. Then configure the account of your son. After that you can configure a family add your son and continue with the parental controls for your son's account.

    If you don't have your own account yet, just set one up. Your do not need to have a good subscription for it.

    IF it is asking for a parent to sign in then when the account was initially setup the DOB on it was set to being under 18

    And again there is NO way to change the DOB on a xbox profile once it is initially setup

    You should be putting the password in when you set up your network. If you're connecting wirelessly then it should have you choose your network name and then if you have a password on it then it should prompt you for it.

    If you have a lot of trouble with it though, if it's possible, try setting up a wired connection and see if that helps.
