    Hello! we have a lot of reports on the setup issue/glitch. Every new user is affected there will be a new update in 24-48 hours depending on when you receive it. Please be patient. We are trying to get this fixed asap, its a glitch on our part. Sorry for
    the inconvenience.

    Please PM me, any other ambassador or trusted member for updated information. This post will also be updated with more info as it is updated.

    Fixes that might help

    Shut your xbox off by holding down the power button for 10 seconds then unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in and try again.

    As I said hese MIGHT help, but are not confirmed.

    Hi, my xbox often keeps running the first time set up, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week.

    can anyone give me some pointers as to why?

    That is because you are using Time Warner (Spectrum) internet service. That is a known issue with that service and has been going on for over a year. The best solution is to run the console wired instead of wireless if possible. You should contact them
    to see if they will provide you with a different make/model gateway. They should be well aware of the issue.

    This won't help. And by the time 24-48 hours comes up, I'll be enjoying my new PlayStation 4 I'll buy when I return this paperweight. I get home at noon tomorrow from class, if this thing doesn't update and work... HELLO SONY!

    Before getting a new HDD, try clearing the console cache by going to settings on the dashboard, go to memory, and then press Y on the HDD and hit clear cache. If this doesn't help I would try formatting the HDD as well.

    Based on your problem returning, it's possible that you have a faulty harddrive. You might want to contact support and see if the hard drive is covered under warranty:
