    I have connected all cords and a system error led me down the path of chat with technical support. I did everything she said which was: 1) purchase a USB flash drive and re-format, 2) download the upgrade, 3) plug into the XBOX , 4) hold down the button
    on left and the eject button at same time... I was supposed to hear two dings, I didn't. I have friend this 100 times.... NO LUCK... I made sure I followed the directions verbatim. My kids received this for a Christmas gift and I am getting ready to return.
    I have spent at least three hours working on this.. WiiU was easier...

    XBOX one initial set up.

    Have you set your time zone go into settings/system there you can select your time zone

    thats where i am, trying to set the time zone. i selrct London but then im unable to select daylight saving or next because cant move off the london setting

    Do you have your Xbox on energy saving? If so that will keep your xbox off and not let anything download till you turn the xbox on.
