Initial Downloading fun

Where do I start. I was unaware I had to be hooked up to the web to get a game to play (initial download at least); didn't have this with 360. Finally make connection & then try to do initial d-load of "Destiny". Main screen says d-load is a certain size
but sidebar states a different size/amount of bandwidth for this d-load. Which is correct? One stated amount will be my monthly bandwidth allotment, the other just a good chunk of it. All this could be stated before buying the game; I've never played on line
before & now all this grief. Can I download Destiny & my Fallout 4 at a buddy's home who has unlimited bandwidth but still be able to play at home after, or is this going to be grief also b/c the console will recognize a different IP address or some such thing.

Someone please tell me this isn't true!! ^^ I just finished downloading the initial 7.63 gigs.gotta wait until next to month to finish downloading because I don't have unlimited data

Darksiders not working.

Can you try deleting the game and re-downloading it?

Also try clearing you system cache prior to re-downloading the game.

If you take your console over to a friends house you can certainly download your games and then return home to play them.

You may want to look into paying for better internet though, most games these days have quite large patches which can regularly run into gigabytes.

If you take your console over to a friends house you can certainly download your games and then return home to play them.

You may want to look into paying for better internet though, most games these days have quite large patches which can regularly run into gigabytes.

That's the problem isn't it? Large, unfinished games that do NOT come on the $60 disc. Especially for us poor shmuks who don't live in metropolitan areas. Some of us, who do work for a living, outside major metropolitan areas end up getting the very bestest
internet.....with not only a capped speed, but a capped amount as well. This kind of behavior from not on m$, but devs as well is actually cutting out a good 40% of their market. A business decision, which as a business owner, makes 0, no, none, not a damn
bit of sense.

But yes, take your box to a buddies, download your actual game from your filler look good disc and you will be good to go. I have to do the same thing for my mom as she is on Dish satellite Internet with a cap, but still enjoys playing games.

Hey there, a lot of games have huge online updates, I would assume AC Unity would have some big updates because the game was quite buggy to begin with and they added fixes. This isn't uncommon for a lot of games, I've had updates of 15gb which is a shock
to the system coming from last generation!
