Discus and support Initial download sizes in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I just setup my new Xbox One that came with Assassin's Creed Unity and Rogue, which need to be downloaded.     Initial download sizes


    I just setup my new Xbox One that came with Assassin's Creed Unity and Rogue, which need to be downloaded.

    My current download is 74GB!! (44GB on day 1, 30GB yesterday). I see that AC Unity is 40GB and Rogue about 7GB, but what else is it downloading and when will it stop?!?!

    Since I do not have unlimited internet this could get expensive!

    I believe the initial download size is 500MB but because of updates that happened between launch and now that size can be a bit larger. The initial download needs to be downloaded before you can play offline. The other updates that came afterwards (it's
    packed into 1 update) needs to be downloaded before you can access Xbox Live to download stuff from the marketplace.

    Xbox One February 11 update will be optional

    I would have skipped the update initially if the download size is too big and didn't have much. However, I'll be getting the update too since it's got one added feature and that is a battery power indicator. This alone is one thing I've always wanted since the start.

    Hey there, a lot of games have huge online updates, I would assume AC Unity would have some big updates because the game was quite buggy to begin with and they added fixes. This isn't uncommon for a lot of games, I've had updates of 15gb which is a shock
    to the system coming from last generation!

    your only Solution for the Future is:

    Sign a new ISP contract with speed and a flatrate. Almost all patches are very big !

    the initial size is 88gb so that is the game downloaded

    it might need a day one update but other than that you are good to go

    you initially download a approximately 2 GB loader which downloads the rest of the game. Has that completed running for a final size over 100 GB?
