    Ingame chat issue


    Hi guys,

    your help is highly appreciated because I have no clue where to find any option that might fix the issue.

    While playing Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox Series S (headset connected to the controller) I ran into the following issue:

    I am in a party and people in the ingame chat can hear me aswell. I am the only one that can hear people from the ingame chat and they only can hear me and no one of my party. It does not matter if I am the host of my party or if someone else is hosting the party. My understanding of the party chat is that we can hear only those people in the party chat and no one from the ingame chat. I dont want to have some guys in the ingame chat listen to me, telling my mate where they should defuse the bomb.

    Thanks in advance for any advise.

    Respawn have said they are aware of ingame chat issues and are working on a fix.

    How to talk through xbox party and not gamechat

    Hello there!

    Is there no option on Halo 3 settings to turn off in game chat?
    If not, you can perhaps mute the ingame lobby.

    But i'm sure there's an option somewhere like when you join a game, there's a turn off ingame chat,

    I just can't remember where when I had the same issue.

    No, I am trying to chat with other people on an XBox One. Oddly enough, one of my friends who is having the same issue can chat to people through BF4 ingame chat. Just not through party chat.

    Sorry for your issue. Since the game is not own by Microsoft there is nothing they can do about things that happen in the ingame chat. For this issue you have to contact the developer..
