I hate complaining. I really do. But I need to vent. Sorry

Finally decided to buy an xbox one yesterday. Took it home, set it up , super excited to play dead rising. Insert disc. Doesn't recognize. I contact xbox support. They tell me, and I quote, "yes, this is a common issue with many consoles in retail stores.
They will be pulled from shelves. An update is coming but it may be a month away so please return it to the store." Ok. Ugh. Upset, but whatever, I understand (kind of). Return the system today and got another one. Took it home, set it up, still real excited
to play dead rising. The noise this console makes is unreal! Grinding and grinding. Thought it was just during install of initial update (which actually happened twice), but no, even on home screen it was super loud. Thought it may be a one time thing. Turn
system off. STILL SUPER LOUD! AND IT'S OFF! I did my research and no, it's not the power brick. It's the actual system that is still making a strange grinding/clicking noise when powered down. Unreal. Not even calling support again. Another return. Third
    times a charm....?

    :)

    Hello xombie08,

After reviewing your account, it appears that you are currently being affected by a known database issue which is interfering with the information on your account. What is happening is that your billable account information is being incorrectly communicated
to our servers. Since this data is necessary to determine where to place your deposit, the process is aborted. Since this issue is currently being caused by a secure database not under our control, we have escalated the problem and it is currently being worked
on by another team. At the current point in time, they have not yet provided us with an approximate solution date. We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your patience while our other team works on a solution.

Well here we are again. Every time my account is good to go then I earn more than 1000 points all of a sudden theres something wrong on your end. Every time. The least amount of time Ive had to wait for a deposit was 7 months. This is no kind of way to run
    things microsoft.

That's rare to get two broken consoles. Just be happy that you can simply return it to the store whereas a lot of people have to exchange it through Microsoft directly. It sucks that it's happening to you, but hang in there. DR3 is a sweet game and the
Xbox One is an awesome console (when it's working.)

Is it only loud when you put in the dead rising disc? Or is it always making the loud noise?

  7. Hey there, robertpaulson! Sorry to see that you're getting that grinding noise! If an exchange at the retailer does not work again, the only course of action is getting a repair through us. You can do so by using either the
    Online Service Center or by
contacting support. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
