Infuriating - Random game uninstallations and other gripes

This has happenend way more than once to me. I go on to play a game only to find out that for some reason unknown to me it has completely uninstalled itself since i last used my xbox one.

Its ridiculous, I wondered why BF4 was laggy as heck the other night, only to find that my console was reinstalling Killer Instinct which i've barely ever played, it was doing the same for Forza 5 despite the fact that i sold it about 2 months ago?

So i get in from work earlier on tonight and i think ill have a quick game of BF4 before the football comes on, and lo and behold its uninstalled the whole game again. Since i went off to watch the football, I come back and its at 100% ready to start,
so i load it up, only to be faced with no options to play it, as apparently neither campaign nor multiplayer had installed - but it says 100% arggggggghhhh. You know sometimes i really hate this XB1 and ive owned 360 and XB1 since the day they came out.


**** I've even found myself considering a switch to the dark side.

You know if i could have my money back for the console right now I think i would take it, if it wasnt for the Titanfall pricedrop and the large sell on fee id lose on ebay id probably have done it already, and i still might to make a point (to who i dont
know) but i hate paying top dollar for essentially garbage.

My advice to anyone considering buying an XB1..... unless its my console, dont even bother.

This is before i even start on how i hate the menu navigations and party features compared to how it was on 360. Next gen should not really suck to this extent.

It seems the only thing my XB1 is good for is watching Netflix, and even that has been acting up lately.

As i write this i find myself thinking about selling the console and what i could do with the money. XB1 wasnt supposed to be like this. Maybe ill feel better tomorrow, but this isnt the 1st time i've felt this way, more like the 10th time.

Anyone else fed up?

Random game uninstallation

So i got back today from class and halo wars 2 was uninstalled randomly. Also this morning it said installation for gta 5 stopped but i didnt really think anything of it. My wifi is horrible and its redownloading halo wars which is actually super frustrating
so why did it uninstall and make me redownload it when i played it last night?

I have never, ever heard of this happening. I could see how it could before, but now with the storage update that allows you to control your stuff, i don't get it

Trust me mate i am anything but a sony fanboy, maybe this is why im so dismayed ive been an xbox fanboy all my life! had the 360 since day one and now the XB1 since day one. Disappointed that i feel ive been pushed to the point where im losing faith.

I've still got my 360, my xbox live subscription runs on both, maybe thats why my games havent updated, I've not been on here for ages, but ill try and update it anyway. I dont understand why this would only affect me.

That sounds like a crappy experience and i understand your frustration, if i found my digital copy of bf4 had uninstalled itself i'd be ***!

 

No problem bud, I just had to come and vent tbh.

I had a look to see why my profile might not be updating, this website seemed like it was prompting me to use smartglass to do that, logged into that on my phone, no success, wasnt really expecting it to either, not a fan of smartglass thus far anyway, dont
like the windows 8 interface at all really.

When i saw this happen with other games that i don't play i was a tad confused but since it didn't affect me i wasn't really that fussed. But BF4 is a rather large game, and given that i have premium so the added dlc, it will take a bit of an eternity to
reinstall.

I noticed there's a service alert to do with signing in, I wonder if that's the root of these problems, probably not since ive noticed them before, but off to bed now anyway, hopefully things will just work when i put them on tomorrow.

Give 'em a try and see what they say - I was having problems the other day and they were pretty good at getting to the bottom of things

 

Just went on to see if its fixed today.

It says game at 100% and installed, then i go onto BF4 and it says campaign at 57% and online at 0% and if i like i can browse battlelog while i wait...... erm no thank you.

So reluctantly ive gone back and decided to uninstall the game, and reinstall it. And just to annoy me a little bit more, it automatically tries to install Forza 5, which i've sold over a month ago!!
