    Infuriating Inability To Speak To A Person


    My Xbox One X stopped working about 3 weeks ago. It was still under warranty so I arranged for it to go back and be repaired. All good so far. Notifying MS and getting the appropriate postage stuff was easy enough. Posted it off and got the email confirming
    receipt in due course.

    I received it back yesterday and there are a few problems:

    - It still doesn't work;

    - They have told me nothing about what they did;

    - The ticket still shows the xbox as in transit when it isn't;

    - I cannot get past the bot to speak to someone to find out what's going on;

    - I did, at one point, get through to a Xbox Gamer whom, unsurprisingly, couldn't help and so sent me an email with a link in it to get further support;

    - This link was broken and so just took me to a page, cheerily implying I'd typed the URL wrong;

    - I have submitted a call back request (UK) and entered my mobile number and it simply tells me it isn't working so I can try again (which I have done what feels like a thousand times).

    This is literally the most infuriating, circular process I have ever experienced - having a bot cheerily demonstrate how useless it is over and over again, with all other avenues apparently not working, is so frustrating.

    Any suggestions from anyone about how I escalate and get off the hamster wheel?
