Infuriating Buzzing sound - Party Chat

Hello, so I got a problem with using a mic on my Xbox One X.

My friend told he'd always hear a buzzing noise when I'd talk in Party Chat. To hear it for myself I made some test recordings using the audio messaging feature of the Xbox and I could clearly hear the buzzing, so the error gotta be on my side here.

I am using Beyerdynamics DT770 headphones and Mod Mic V5 connected via a Y-adapter plugged directly into my controller. I tried using a different Mic (Zalman ZM-1), a different Y adapter, a different controller and I used a different headset altogether (an Astro
A40 headset). The problem persists. So I doubt any of these are the source of my problem, unless both my controllers are faulty or something like that. Connecting the controllers with a USB cable to my console only enhances the buzzing noise, and makes it
almost unbearable for my Chat members.

Using all these headset setups on other devices (Smartphone, PS4, etc.) works like a charm, with no problems, so I guess the problem's gotta be something else.

I feel like I tried everything here, yet no success. Any suggestion on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

PS: Could the Audio Messaging service be the problem here, because I used that to test all these setups? Interestingly, when I talked extremely silent (too silent for using the Party Chat properly though), the recordings had no background buzzing whatsoever.
If I made a single loud noise during a recording, the buzzing sound returned for the entirety of the recording, even if I was silent in the beginning.

So is there another way to test my microphone besides Audio Messages?

We need to isolate this issue so that we could confirm if the issue has something to do with the mic of your headset. It's possible that it's faulty that's why others can't hear you when joining a party chat. I recommend that you perform the troubleshooting

Party Chat Buzzing Sound

I recently tried using party chat but when I got in everybody commented on the sound my mic was making but I heard it too. Nobody could hear me when I talked just the buzzing sound. They said it sounded like a helicopter or a really long fart.

 

Is your controller powered via an USB power supply during that time?

My friends also sometimes complain about a buzzing sound when I'm charging my controller via USB. Also, another friend produces buzzing when he charges his controller via USB.

So it's probably not your Y cable or microphone, as the original Xbox chat headset also buzzes, when the controller charges via USB.

However, when I remove the USB charging cable, the buzzing stops.

So if you still have a buzzing sound, do you have to power the microphone?

My controller is powered by AA batteries. When I plug in the USB cable, the buzzing gets way worse. So not using the USB connection does improve it, but it's not gone entirely.

My mic's do not have external power supply, I just plug them in the Y cable.
