I was thinking about buying the fortnite starter pack from the microsoft store but i was wondering im not on xbox so will i get it on ps4 and when u buy it what happens??

does it give u a code or something how will this work??

The Microsoft store only sells games, etc, for Xbox and Windows 10. To buy it for PS4 you would have to purchase it from Sonys own online store.

Xbox app it's on PC, but I guess it's not trough Xbox app then, you will need to contact game developer for information about this as this is a Xbox product support forum so probably you won't get that information here

You could be watching some old tutorial, currently to stream on console you need a subscription, this does not depend on Microsoft.
