Information about Gold Account for XBOX One

I want to buy Xbox One gold account if buy this account can i download games from there or i have to buy games seprately??

More over from where i can quit my games which i want to quit??

First time use/setup

Hi. I've bought a day one edition for my boys a surprise for Xmas but not had a chance to test it yet. Because one of my lads already has a 360 in his room with his own gold account, I am going to set up the xbox One with his as the primary account fir the gold access as that way we can use the same gold account on his 360 and the shared Xbox one.

However, if I set the Xbox one up late one night presumably I will have to add the primary/gold account that it will use (I.e my son's) as part of the initial set up . Then I'll try it with one of the games. So by doing this, when he next uses his 360 will he see that his account had been used on an Xbox one? Obviously I don't want him to suspect there is an Xbox one in the house!!!

Xbox Live Gold Problem

About an hour ago I put in my one year gold prepaid card code on my account and xbox live is not giving me gold. I checked my account information and everything and my account is gold status but still acting as silver. Can you please fix this? :/

Hi TilingBranch, if you buy an xbox gold account you´ll be able to buy the games you want in that account and they´ll be on the Apps & Games Downloads

Did you upgraded your account to a Gold Subscription or bought a Family Gold Pack? You shouldn't have been able to purchase a family gold pack as it has been discontinued and accounts are being converted to individual gold accounts making way for Xbox One's
Home Gold plan. If you already had a Family Gold Account and your accounts haven't been split into individual gold accounts you can review this

Add/Remove FAQ for the Family Pack. As an individual Gold subscription you cannot add members. You can review this

sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ with both accounts to see which one has Live Gold

then on the Xbox, sign in with the account that has Gold and set it as the Home Xbox.

Hi there,

Xbox 360 games acquired via Games with Gold will continue to work even if you don't have a Gold subscription anymore.

I'm not sure about the games for the original Xbox though. For Xbox One games an active Gold subscription is required.
