    Info on Upgrading TV's for Xbox Series X


    I recently watched a video that i found quite informative on upgrading your TV's to be ready for the next gen consoles,

    I think it's worth a watch if anyone is thinking of upgrading their TV's and looking for info on certain features or has any lingering questions or doubts about upgrading there TV's for next gen consoles,

    Having seen a couple of post on here from time to time with question on / about upgrading TV's for next gen,

    I myself won't be getting a new TV, as i already have a 50" 4K HDR Samsung TV, though it's 6 years old, still no need to upgrade it

    but i'm going to be upgrading my Gaming monitor to a 27" 4K 144hz HDR monitor with HDMI 2.1 for my 4K gaming PC and the next gen consoles.

    I'm digging all the info on the Series X. I may have to finally upgrade to a 4K tv. I have the One X and love it but I still haven't truly experienced it being only on a 1080p tv.

    There's no need for an 8K TV as the consoles wont be able to play games at 8K, as 8K gaming is just not ready for consoles, even the most expensive, powerful gaming PC's struggle to play games at 8K,

    I don't see 8K gaming on console for at least two more console generations after the Xbox Series X/S (7-14+ years).

    Will the Xbox Series X work on a 1080p TV?

    Yes, The Xbox Series X will play at 1080p fine, but the Xbox Series X is a 4K gaming console,

    If you're not planning to upgrade to a 4K TV / Monitor, I'd say it not worth getting the Series X in my opinion, you're much better off with the Xbox Series S as that is a 1080p / 1440p gaming console and you'll save some money if you're staying at 1080p,
