    Where are you seeing this info displayed? Are you referring to when you select the "Gold" window from your Xbox One Home Dashboard and then are taken to the Xbox Live Gold page with Games with Gold and Deals with Gold? Are you seeing your subscription info
    displayed accurately up on the top of that screen?

    Also, what happens when you try to claim a Games with Gold game or play online multiplayer over Xbox Live?

    Yes,if it's in the deals with gold you can still play that game without gold.

    You still have to pay for games in the deals with gold section,they are just on offer at a lower price.

    It's only the xbox one games with gold you need a gold sub for in order to play them.

    To further clarify on Daft Badger's post:

    If you purchased it, especially at a discount from Deals with Gold, you can play those games whenever you want, even without a Gold subscription.

    If it was the monthly free games you get from Games with Gold, you can only play them while your Gold subscription is
    active. When your Gold expires, you simply lose access to playing them. You can resume playing them by renewing your Gold.

    Live gold 2 months for 2 dollars.

    I don't care what "deal" they offer... I'm not signing up for auto renewal or entering my CC info in the Live network. I have no use for gold anyway.
