    I have tried logging into my Xbox account on my computer a large number of times. Each time I am required to use my authenticator app, however with each try it just brings me back to requesting the notification to be sent to the authenticator app. No matter what sign in method I try the issue continues to persist. I have spent a few hundred dollars on games on the Xbox app for PC and would like to access the purchases and content again so myself and my family can enjoy the content I have purchased, not to mention the countless hours spent acquiring Gamerscore and exclusive content associated to specific titles, however each time, sometimes weeks or months apart, that I try to login to the account I restricts me from doing so. I have all the information correct and have taken steps to resolve the issue on my own and using forums and the community as help, however the issue persists. I noticed that the authenticator app is about to become obsolete in July 2025, and I am hoping that will solve this issue. If there is anything that support can tell me about whether or not this issue is being worked on or there are any resolutions not laid out in your support forums, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am a long time user of Microsoft and Xbox and would like to continue using Xbox and the Microsoft store. Especially since I have used so much money and time to acquire certain forms of entertainment from the platform.

    Please follow these steps and see if it will help fix the issue.

    Make sure that Passwordless Account and Two-step verification are not enabled here.

    Update your password here.

    Sign in here using the new password.

    https://www.xbox.com/en-US/

    Then, follow these steps. Make sure to close any games and applications before proceeding.

    Check Your PC’s Date and Time Settings:

    Ensure your PC’s date and time are accurate for proper connection establishment.

    Press the Start button, then select Settings.

    Go to Time & Language > Date & Time.

    Ensure the Set time automatically toggle is turned on.

    Open the Microsoft Store by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Microsoft Store, and selecting App Settings.

    Click on Repair and then Reset the app.

    Repeat the same process for the Xbox App.

    Restart Your Device:

    After repairing and resetting both apps, restart your device.

    Sign back into both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store using the same email.

    Check if this resolves the issue.

    FYI: Forza 7 demo available now for Xbox One and PC

    My forza shows the login screen than comes back to login screen, when I press enter again it briefly shows a login screen and comes back to the title screen again... a infinite loop is set and I cant even test

    Now, regarding Microsoft security, I wanted to mention that they always advise users to activate two-step verification (MFA) to provide greater security to accounts and so that these types of cases do not occur again.
