    What the hell is going on with Xbox 360 games? In the past, COD4 was ruined by infections and I gave up playing - happily it's clear now. But now every other game in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is infected either by XP Lobby or ways in which players have found
    to cheat: unkillable players, shooting from afar through buildings against which one has no defence, and in 'Hijacked' shooting at the ship from hundreds of yards away in the sea! I wonder why I spend 40 pounds a year to be unable to play favourite games.
    If it continues, I will buy a Playstation!

    There is hacking on infection already? i havent played infection for a few weeks. I prefer halo 3 infection more.

    Hi,

    While I understand your frustrations with these games, there is very little that Microsoft can do about this. Xbox Live doesn't host these games, there are no dedicated servers. The game simply selects a user from a lobby and it is they who run the game.
    If players in the lobby have mods running, these will infect other players. The only people who can fix this are the original developers/publishers.

    If you jump to PlayStation to play these old Call of Duty titles, you'll be disappointed as PSN has exactly the same problem. Don't believe me? Check the videos on YouTube.

    The latest Call of Duty games on current hardware don't suffer from these issues. COD WW2 has dedicated servers.

    Infected gametype. Someone became the infected at random and his goal was to make everybody in the lobby infected. Great party game.

    The infected in MW2 was if a player had the infected logo and they knifed someone it unlocked the infected logo for that user. It was anything bad though.

    Whats your oppinion about the gamemode "Infected"

    It's great for points and your W/L rank. The longer you live, the more infected you kill, then the kills you make as infected, adds points, and 99% of the time, you're infected at the end, and the infected score a win.

    Infecting is generally done by having a modded box that you connect to an unmodded box to infect it. Thus it's only a temp software infection, resets on power off. So the infected box can be a totaly legit, unopened box.
