    Increase the distance between the Kinect and the Xbox console???


    I need to increase the distance between the Kinect and the Xbox console. The way our living space is set up does not really allow the two to be close to each other. I purchased the Windows Kinect adapter and I have an extra cat5 cable that runs from where
    the Kinect is to the Xbox console. I also have the ability to run another cable as well. Any ideas out there.

    xbox one minimum room size?

    I think you'll find it is about 3 feet of distance between you and the kinect

    XBOX Controller disconnect beyond 1 meter distance from Console

    Hi,

    I am using a beta Xbox One Console and i am facing an issue with console. My Controllers disconnect when the distance increases beyond 1 meter between console and controller. I have talked to XBOX support and they have asked me to replace the console.

    But since this is beta console, would i need to pay for repair/replacement?

    That's the problem, with the xbox controller they are not Bluetooth, they a hybrid Wifi and Radio Frequency, the idea was better distance between de console and the player. The Bluetooth of the PS3/PS4 had the limitation of the distance between the console
    and the player.

    XBOX ONE ON COMMAND NOT WORKING

    It works for me if I have the console in instant on mode.

    I find you have to speak clearly, don't shout and make sure you have a slight pause between the words "xbox" and "on".

    And i'm in the UK

    Also I've noticed that if the Kinect sensor is quite close to the tv speakers you will get problems so make sure there is at least a foot distance between them.

    It doesn't work if you are using energy saving mode though and that is by design.
