Incorrect Profile Info

I started this gamertag many many years ago. I have a poor memory, so I'm not sure when. I do remember playing Halo 3 shortly after it's 2007 release, when the gamertag was new. So I happen to know that my gamertag is around 8 years old. However upon speaking
with a Microsoft support person a few months ago, I was informed that my gamertag is only 6 years old, which I know is not the case. Then, on my Xbox it says that my "tenure" is only two years, which is also reflected by the number 2 next to my gamertag on
my profile. Just minutes ago I spoke with another Microsoft support person, and they said that they could not find anything earlier on my gamertag history than Rayman 3 HD in January of this year. I have not played this game in years. I was actually, for reasons
that are personal and I will not explain, rendered incapable of playing my Xbox for a couple years. I started playing again around December of last year, or January of this year. However it is not possible that I would have created a profile within the last
three years. So I don't know how to get these inconsistencies resolved. It might seem like a small caveat, but I am slightly obsessive, and I want my profile to display that my gamertag is really about 8 years old, and certainly not 2. I'm quite disappointed
that Microsoft does not have better records kept on things such as the creation date of a gamertag.

i can't install my profile on my xbox as it gives me another profile instead, my Profile was KILLERKILLJOY90 but when i entered in the info it gave me SentientStew227 please help me to fix this or idk if my info i entered the second time was incorrect

First I would triple check the info through your Microsoft account at the first link below. Secondly, you can always contact direct Microsoft support at the second link below. I had a similar issue and it was due to my Rewards account was linking to an
old GT I hadn't used in ages. Have you tried re-registering?

Did your tag revert back to a silver account for a length of time?

 

Hi CaptainKush....the number you are referring to is not the age of your gamer tag, it is the age of your tenure with Xbox Live Gold. If you were unable to play Xbox for a couple of years then you're tenure was reset back to zero. You can only go a couple
of months without gold on your account before it gets reset back to zero. The tenure is how long you have been a "consistent" gold subscriber. Hope that explains it.

 

If that is the case, then it's still impossible for that number to be two.
