Incorrect profile and gamertag

if you use the incorrect details, it may have created a new profile for you

Zoobabwa, that is incorrect.

DLC can be accessed by any profile on the console that originally downloaded it. Sometimes we run into situations like this current one where problems arise, but it's not due to using different gamertags.

When you try and download your profile on the 360 what does it say?

Your credentials are incorrect? in other words your password is incorrect?

Is it giving you any sort of error message?

Have you ever played online with that profile on the 360?

The 360s did not require you to have a MS account like the Ones do and you could have a local profile. If this is the case for your account then you would not be able to put your current MS account on that profile on the 360 you can put another one on there

Look on your XBOX console and see if the emails are the same. When you log on go to the home screen by hitting the Guide button ( the center button) on your controller and select xbox home. while there, watch the top right of your screen and the email and
your gamertag will scroll there.

If the emails are the same, you will need to contact phone support at 1-800-4MYXBOX because you will need to have it looked at by an agent.

If the emails are different, then that is why you see 2 different gamer tags.

Please confirm that the e-mail you registered your gamertag "tartanspringbok" is spelled exactly as you're typing it in on Xbox.com. You can do this by going to your Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > 3rd Tab (Account Information) > Account Security
> Looking to the right of the screen you should see the Microsoft Account (e-mail) that is associated with your gamertag. Please make sure that you check that e-mail for all spelling errors as it does happen sometimes where people will misspell something while
creating the account.
