Incorrect game for the console, please read

My boyfriend has the Xbox serie S and when madden 2022 came out for preorder in the Microsoft store he purchased it assuming that it would be for his Xbox. Turns out it’s the Xbox one version, he’s been on the phone trying to resolve the matter since he has game sharing and was able to download the correct one however he’s getting errors such as “game trial ended” etc. can someone help? He’s tried 6-8 people today and nothing has been resolved.

for me, it says the region code is incorrect to my consoles, i haven't had any other problems in downloading other games, but this?

If you go into your download queue, you should have stuff there with little errors, yeah? Click on one of those and there should be an option to download ALL content to this new console.

Support typically sends people to the forums with incorrect information. The enforcement team do not read/post in these threads so they do not take reports in the forums. They will only take complaints filed on the console.
