    I have the incorrect email address attached to my account, my correct email is attached to a different account, how do I sort this so I can sync my devices, any help appreciated

    Incorrect Email fixing?

    Help!

    I continue to receive email from Xbox (offers, account info, etc) regarding an account that isn't mine.

    Someone must have accidentally used my email address for their 'contact' info. It's both annoying for me, and bad for him (since he must not be receiving these emails).

    I called Xbox support and was told that there is nothing they could do to fix it, since only the account holder can make that change. (Of course, I don't have any contact info for him so I can't tell him!).

    Is that really the case? Is there no way to have Xbox stop sending me email about an Xbox Live account that isn't mine???

    I'm trying to get my code to unlock more specializations but the email address associated with my account doesn't exist any more. I contacted xbox live customer support and they sent me here. They can do nothing to further resolve my issue. Wonderful.

    Thanks for getting back to me onyx62is but we live in South Africa so the phone call might be a little pricey. We could always start a new profile but he's been playing offline for years and would naturally loose everything if he had to start again.

    Hey there Brian! Yes, we can't make changes on another person's account like this. They'd have to remove your address. You can always try filtering it out in your email though.
