    Last week I purchased an Xbox Live 12-month renewal for 39. 99 but was charged 59.99. I called customer support who said to post in the forums to get this resolved. I have a photo of the promotional offer, if this helps. Thanks.

    Sony charges Sales tax on PSN. You just don't get charged where you live.

    Insufficient funds

    The phone support person is incorrect. That is the way when using currency on the xbox marketplace. Currency cannot be used when purchasing on the website though.

    http://commerce.microsoft.com     to make sure your information is correct. If it is correct, and you're still being charged incorrectly, you'll need to try contacting support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox
