incorrect ban

    i have submitted a case review to the xbox enforcement team as i was unsure why i got banned and apparently its because to them [Mod Removed - Profanity] is a homophobic slur. to me it means funny guy talk?? the closed the case after the
    review and now i cant do anything. can i talk to the xbox enforcement team?

    I was told by xbox support on the phone that if i posted here i may be able to communicate with the enforcement team.

    Submitting a case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. Since you already did and they upheld their decision then there is nothing else that can be done.

    I'm sorry to hear about any issues you may be having due to an enforcement action. For information about the ban and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to Enforcement website. That is the only way to contact the enforcement
    team.

    Hey Caruana thanks for the reply!

    Regarding our Enforcement team they aren't on the Forums and they don't have a phone number. In short the only viable option is to file the review as XBF Leslie stated so they can look into the account and its suspension.

    Hey there Caruana,

    If you have already received the response and the case was closed, then yes the only thing you would be able to do at this point is to wait for the suspension to be over.

    Also, with a temporary suspension the account will have it's privileges restored once the suspension is over. The account will not have to be abandoned.

    I do apologize for the inconvenience, Unfortunately there is not much that can be done. When you do sign up for Xbox live Gold you do agree to the

    Terms of Use
    and to the
    Code of Conduct
    . Now Unfortunately Being that the account was placed under a suspension for violating these terms there is nothing we could do about the lost time.

    if you had simply reported the other person and left it at that then you wouldn't have been punished.

    there is an old saying the "two wrongs don't make a right" and that is what XBL Enforcement go by.

    if your enforcement action was for over 24 hours then you can apply for a case review
    at https://enforcement.xbox.com

    the Enforcement Team don't review these forums and we are only volunteers (trying to troubleshoot console and game problems) and we can't do anything about Enforcement actions.

    It doesn´t make a difference who started it. If you Reply to the message and violate the T&Cs and the person reports you there will be actions. You are responsible for your own actions.

    As already mentioned if you run into a toxic gamer just block, mute and report them.
