Incorrect account transfer / time limit?

Hi all,

Not having had an xbox before i set up my sons xbox x in my name. I have no parental controls over his playing time in the family app as essentially it sees it as being ‘me’, the adult. Couple of questions;

1 - can i set him up as a child and transfer all the data over?

or

2 - can i time limit the main account?

You can create a new child account for him, but nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Time limits can only be set on child accounts.

Nothing can be transferred between accounts and you can't set time limits on an adult account. So it's either have him start over on the child account or let him use the organizer account without time limits.

I can’t believe this isn’t possible? Why is this so hard? I have the same scenario and need to limit screen time. Either allow account transfers or allow screen time on an adult account. Either one solves the problem.

For the last time,support are NOT allowed to reset the amount of times you can set your home console anymore
"unless it's a new registered console"(this is incorrect) or "your console has been replaced"(this is incorrect) due to being sent in for repair.

I'll explain it one more time.Before you could set your home console 3 times per 12 months & if you reached that 3 times limit you could contact support & the may have give you one more time to set your home console but people were abusing that so the limit
was changed to 5 times every 12 months,which is more than enough,& support are now no longer allowed to give out another one time change unless it's under certain circumstances.There is no "1 time reset".If there was then the limit would be 6 times per 12
months & not 5.

This has been explained to you several times yet you continue to ignore this for some reason.

NO MORE EXPLANATION IS NEEDED

The ACCOUNT has up to 5 uses (previously 3) for the Home Console Feature. Once those 5 uses are used, there is a one time reset that can be done.

Xbox Support HAS THE OPTION IN THE TOOLS for the account to reset this ONE TIME!

AS LONG AS, this One Time has not been used before, they CAN DO THIS!

Once that One Time Reset has been done, then it will be 12 months before the next available reset and the agent cannot override that.

Console Registration has NOTHING to do with this!

A Console Repair has NOTHING to do with this!

Daft Badger - Please end this and contact Xbox Support Use the Chat Support or Call the number and just ASK about the Home Console reset feature and ASK about the Reset Process.

I believe you are mixing this up with the limitation on the 360 License Transfer because the 360 License Transfer was tied to the console and the agents didn't have an option for that. Where the Xbox One Home Console Feature is tied to the account.
