inconsistent or unbalanced banning

So I was playing some ranked rainbow six siege and got into a game with what a I think was a four man squad. They were inviting me to there party and I was gonna join but then one of them messaged me and said they would teamkill me every round if I didn’t
join. Them saying that made me not want to join cause they seemed kinda toxic. So they each killed me in separate rounds until they couldn’t kill me anymore then we went on and finished the game. After the one guy asked me if I still wanted to join and obviously
I didn’t want to and they weren’t that good either. I replied with “not if you’re gonna keep acting like a [mod removed]” idk if I can say that here don’t wanna make it worse. I reported the one guy for toxicity or whatever and log in this morning to see that
I received a communication ban. I’m totally fine with waiting out the 24 hours but it kinda annoys me that he didn’t receive any sort of ban. I just wanted to point out how un balanced the banning system is I guess.

Thats pretty unfortunate like you said. You know in the new rainbow six update they put reverse teamkill to remove toxicity. Dont worry bro, its a pretty rare chance youll be in their team again.

As long as you reported them, the enforcement team will investigate them and take the appropriate action. There's no way for you to know for sure when/if a suspension is issued for someone else. Not all suspensions are issued the same day. It just depends
on how long it takes for them to investigate. So even if he hasn't received a suspension yet, it doesn't necessarily mean he won't.

Yea that isn't exactly fare but he may still recieve some punishment for his actions. There is really no way for you to know. Language is definitely going to red flagged thou.

Hi there, I know your pain. Siege has an extremely toxic playerbase for no reason, that's why I stopped playing long ago.

The Enforcement team investigates each report before issuing any punishment. Seeing as how whatever you said has been removed by a moderator it's safe to assume that maybe you should avoid using that word/phrase again.

Unfortunately you may never know what happened to the players you report, but just know that if they do violate the Code of Conduct they will most likely get punished sooner or later. The best thing to do when you see toxic players is to just report them
and block them. Giving them fuel for the fire only puts yourself at risk of punishment, so I'd suggest avoiding replying to toxic players in general.

I hope you have better luck finding teammates that aren't jerks in the future.

Unfortunately, there are some players that will do that. I would sugggest reporting them for unsporting conduct and then block them to avoid further interaction. I am sorry for your situation, and as rightfully deserved as the message to them seems, you
should have just blocked them and ignored/deleted the message. Chances are that people that are toxic on Xbox (like that team) will be reported enough to recieve a ban and hopefully learn from their mistakes.
