    Inconsistent Internet


    For the past few weeks the internet connected to my xbox has been inconsistent. Before it would be well over 100 Mbps but now it can't reach 50 Mbps and it fluctuates. Even when it's wired it goes even slower. I contacted my internet provider and they
    said its something wrong with the Xbox as the desktop computer speed was well. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    It will most likely be due to the current situation were lots of Countries and Regions are being placed under lock-down. This is putting strain on the network. It could be your ISP or Xbox Servers. Most of the time download speeds can be linked with the
    ISPs they are prone to throttle the network in some areas during peak usage.

    For what I know, Xbox download and upload servers are like on maintenance for the pandemic, for all users can play.

    Microsoft already said they weren't going to do game streaming because it would rely on the internet connection of each individual person and the framerate would be inconsistent making a less quality service

    Microsoft should implant a speed test.

    A speed and latency test would be useful. My internet connection is always inconsistent so it would be nice to check the issue quickly on xbox rather than have to go on my laptop.
