    Inconsistent game pass remote downloads


    Can any insider staff please look into why this is not working properly. One day I set a game to download to my Xbox it will work first time and I get the notification to say it’s downloading. I will use my Xbox as normal and then put it back to instant on. The next day I have to set about 2 or 3 games up to download just to get one downloaded. I’ve just tried it now and I had to queue about 5 up and I’ve just got a notification now saying a game is downloading and then the rest follow. Why is this not working the first time all of the time. I don’t think this is limited to preview updates either. I left preview and still same old issues. I’m now back in beta but I reported this a while back and it never gets fixed

    One time you will hit "MENU" and it will just sit there and not take any other commands from the remote.

    Then a couple minutes later it will take another command.

    I figured out how to download it. For me I had to remote download season pass 5 from xbox.com. Check the microsoft instructions to learn how to do to remote download I hope it works for you

    Hi there if you are wanting to remote install games on the game pass download the game pass app as the xbox app does not do this. As for it not loading things there are known connection issues that will hopefully resolved soon. Hope you are safe and well

    What console do you have?
    Did you try downloading the game remotely?

    For this purpose you can try using the Xbox.com website or the Game Pass mobile app
