    Incident number: [Mod removed], Force Gamertag Change Issue


    I turned on my xbox one today to find out that my gamertag: [Mod removed] has been switched to RapidKitten7799. I am highly frustrated about this alteration due to the lack of consent from my part.

    I must clarify that it was not my intention to offend any individual from the gaming community. I would highly appreciate for this case to be reviewed. I have been a loyal customer for about 7-8 years now.

    That's a good point but if he joined the game late then it would have marked a death in the raid and no one would have gotten the achievement.

    Also, did you join the game late? With the flawless raider, you need to be in the game from the very beginning. Which I learnt the hard way Incident number: [Mod removed], Force Gamertag Change Issue :(

    Congrads for having a naughty tag for 8 years. You agreed to play nice and keep everything pg when you sign up. So I don't think you will be switched back.

    Yep,when you started your account you agreed to the ToU/CoC. That means you've given your consent for Microsoft to change your gamertag if it is deemed against the rules.

    Also,posting reference numbers is not allowed on the forums.

    Yep,when you started your account you agreed to the ToU/CoC. That means you've given your consent for Microsoft to change your gamertag if it is deemed against the rules.

    Hey there -

    Sorry to hear about the troubles. When do you run into this particular error? And have you tried any troubleshooting steps already? If so, can you let us know what you have tried so we aren't doing double the work.

    In the meantime, do you have another Xbox Live account that you can use to try playing the game with?

    If you completed the Flawless Raider achievement in Destiny and it didn't pop for you try pressing the start button while in the game and scroll to the right until you see the option to change gamertag. Select that option and choose yourself again. When
    the game reloads it should pop for you.
