    Incapable of Pressing A, a Factory Reset AND no sound??


    I've had an issue over the past week with my Xbox One.

    When I am on the dashboard (home screen), the A button does not activate what my cursor is on.

    The buttons work just fine.
    The Xbox itself is registering that I am pressing the A button, but isn't doing anything when I click it.
    If I click any option including games and apps, the icon pulses and registers that that I clicked it and it's about to activate.

    But it doesnt do anything. It is like this with every option available.

    Upon trying to go through customer support, it was recommended that I factory reset my console, so I did.

    After factory resetting, the problem not only persists, but a new problem has arisen.

    The Xbox is making no sound of any kind, games and YouTube are making no sound at all through the TV speakers or anything.

    I also attempted to use customer support for this, but all the tutorials I find are for Windows on a computer and apparently theres noone physically available to assist in any way.

    Checking sound settings reveals nothing as well, as everything seems to be set to the correct parameters.
