Inbox showing messages that are not there.

Hope i'm in the right section...

Basically for the last week my inbox has been showing 2 unread messages that are simply not there. They don't show on the console itself, but they show on my account when i check online, and also through smartglass.

Any ideas how to fix/refresh my inbox?

my mate says he sent me a message and game invite but there not showing up in my inbox

however when on here there showing up any ideas how to fix it

Account message inbox!

All today my friends have been sending me messages but they have not been showing up in my inbox, yes my notifications are on and im not appearing busy. HELP PLEASE

It could be voice messages sent from the 360. Those wont show on your X1, and you can't listen to them on the website. You have to sign into your 360 to hear them.

As a side note, on the Xbox One, I've had some messages I've already read still appear on the Friends screen. If this happens to you, you can get rid of those by simply refreshing the entire Live UI by pressing RT+LT+Y.

worked a treat.

Signed in to the 360 and had 3 friend requests. Decline Decline Decline Problem solved.

Hey there, the only thing I can think of is if you've had any recent friends requests? Sometimes I check the request through my friends list which leaves the notification in my inbox. I thought I had a ghost notification for a while until I went through
all my messages and found a random friends request I had rejected through my friends list.

If you're inbox is completely empty though, I think official support might need to look into it.
