Inbox message problem

This morning while i was playing someone wanted to befriend, but i didn't wanted, so deleted his message, but in the inbox had 2 friend request from the same user, now i deleted one, but the other message remains, deleted my account and recover it, but i
still see the same message and i can't delete it, and in my smartglass i don't see the message, any help would be appreciated.

Hey there, the only thing I can think of is if you've had any recent friends requests? Sometimes I check the request through my friends list which leaves the notification in my inbox. I thought I had a ghost notification for a while until I went through
all my messages and found a random friends request I had rejected through my friends list.

If you're inbox is completely empty though, I think official support might need to look into it.

Currently I am having the exact same issue but with 4 from the same one I do not wish to be friends with. While doing everything from Re-downloading, to clearing system cache, anything that could possibly fx it which didn't for me indicates it is most likely
a problem with the server. I read a post yesterday about a theory that the Xbox Live service through the console is not syncing correctly with xbox.com and had some reports that it isn't ther on Xbox.com.

So I am assuming the only thing we can do is wait for the isue to correct itself.
